| April 3, 2000 - We have a large collection of Boston theater playbills, dating from about 1910 to about 1967. These will be cataloged on this site.
Some of the playbills are from theaters in neighboring cities and are so indicated. Some of the oldest of these playbills do show their age. However, the vast majority are in very good condition. Each page will contain 100 listing, and some scans will be included to show the graphics and quality of the playbills. Because the playbills are contained in several large cartons in a somewhat random mix, the content of the various pages is likely to change as the site develops. Last updated: June 10, 2006 |
